Southern Safari & Hiking Adventure
Day 1 – Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Welcome to Tanzania. Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to your accommodation. Relax and unwind after your journey, and if time and your energy level allows, explore the vibrant town with it’s shops, restaurants, and stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

Day 2 – Transfer to Nyerere National Park
After a delicious breakfast, depart for Nyerere National Park. Enjoy the evening with a serene boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles and diverse birdlife - an unforgettable experience!
Accommodation: Selous Kinga Lodge
Day 3 – Nyerere National Park
Today, embark on a thrilling day of game drives in Nyerere National Park. Watch out for elephants, lions, and a wide array of wildlife. End the day with a peaceful evening at the camp.

Day 4 – Transfer to Mikumi National Park
Travel to Mikumi National Park, and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon, where you can spot zebras, giraffes, and lions.
Accommodation: Vuma Hills Tented Camp or Camp Bastian
Day 5 – Udzungwa Mountains National Park
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before driving to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Hike for 2-3 hours to the breathtaking Sanje Waterfalls, where you will enjoy a picnic lunch and have the chance to swim in the refreshing pools.

Day 6 – Iringa
Today, head to Iringa and explore the town at your own pace - visiting the vibrant local markets and experiencing the unique culture of this charming town.

Day 7 – Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, head to Ruaha Nationalpark, one of the most remote and untouched parks in Tanzania. Enjoy an evening game drive, keeping your eyes peeled for lions, and the park’s large elephant herds.

Day 8 – Ruaha National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the diverse ecosystems of Ruaha, know for it’s impressive landscapes and wildlife.

Day 9 – Departure
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye and head to the airport in Iringa, where you will fly back to Dar es Salaam.
